Girls Basketball vs Nouvel on 9/22
The 7th grade girls basketball team earned a scrappy win against Nouvel last night with a final score of 31-20. Avery Thom had an outstanding game with 18 points and 4 steals! Ari Rodriguez also had her first 2 points, and Camille Hoffmann added in 6 points!! Great game girls!!!
The 8th grade girls basketball team defeated Nouvel 40-15. Haley Vanderwall led all scores with 12 points followed by Ireland Graham with 11 points.
Cross Country TVC at Alma on 9/23
Our cross country team had their second conference meet of the season yesterday, and they once again showed up to compete! Both the boys and girls took 2nd place!
For the girls, Bailee Hayward was our top finisher, taking 3rd place with a time of 14:35. Close behind her was Hannah Wizner who finished in 4th place with a time of 14:44. Both of them are in the running to earn First Team All-Conference honors. Next we had a close pack of runners, with Ruby Kramer in 7th, Amelia Stevenson in 10th, Maggie Raths in 11th, and Everly Drews in 12th. Everly ran a huge PR with a time of 16:32, beating her previous best by over 1.5 minutes. All 4 of them are in a position to earn Second Team All-Conference honors. The rest of the girls team finished close together with Summer Galonska in 19th, Brielle Nash in 23rd, and Kallye Morley in 24th. Brielle also ran a huge PR, beating her old time by over 2.5 minutes!
Leading the boys team was Wyatt Wenzel, who took 1st place, running a new PR with a time of 12:48. He is 0.2 seconds away from making it onto our Top 10 record board! Next we had Henry Salowitz in 5th and Ben Murphy in 6th. All 3 of them are in a spot to earn First Team All-Conference honors. Carson Kasonovich was next for the boys, finishing in 12th and putting himself in a place to earn Second Team All-Conference honors. The rest of the boys team finished close together, with Jaxson Penn in 15th, Jaden Bow in 16th, and Tanner Holmes in 17th, who ran a PR with a time of 18:48 and beat his old time by 14 seconds. Great job to all our cross country athletes!

The 7th Grade girls basketball team earned a win over Alma with a score of 38-22. Makenzie Keenan and Hollis Genow led the team with 8 points each. Brylee Conger had 6 assists and Camille Hoffmann added 5 points and 5 assists! Their defense was on fire with 4 steals from Elsie Bauman and Avery Thom! Great game girls!
The 8th grade girls basketball team defeated Alma 50-22. Lauren Launstein led all scores with 14 points followed by Haley Vanderwall with 11 points.
