Cross Country is on the move!!

Our middle school cross country team had their first meet of the season last Thursday at the Eagle Invite in Carson City.

Our girls team took 2nd place overall, earning a plaque for themselves. Every single girl on our team was also a medalist! Bailee Hayward was our top runner for the girls, taking 6th place with a time of 16:25. Ruby Kramer wasn't too far behind, finishing in 8th place with a new PR of 17:47, beating her old time by over 3 minutes! Maggie Raths finished in 10th, followed closely by Amelia Stevenson who finished in 11th. Amerlia also had a huge PR beating her old time by over 2 minutes! Everly Drews finished in 14th, Summer Galonska finished in 17th, and Brielle Nash finished in 18th.

The boys team was able to win the entire meet, earning a first place plaque. Every single boy on our team was also a medalist! Wyatt Wenzel took first place with a strong sprint to the end, finishing with a time of 13:24. Henry Salowitz was the next runner for the boys team, taking 4th place and running a lifetime PR by 54 seconds. Ben Murphy took 6th place and Carson Kosanovich finished in 11th. Jaxson Penn, Jaden Bow, and Tanner Holmes finished 16th, 17th, and 18th for our team, helping solidify their first-place team victory.

Amazing job to all of our cross country runners!

Do these winning teams sound like something you want to be a part of? It's not too late to join! See Mrs. Bebow if you are interested in joining cross country!
