Congratulations to Delaney Schultz and Carly Roundtree for earning champion status in the D division earning 132 points. Delaney was 1st out of the top ten riders with 84 points (101 overall points) from her top 12 (of 15) classes. She was undefeated (1st on both days) in Western Horsemanship, English Equitation, and Western Bareback. This was Carlys' first horse show and she killed it with 31 points! The girls both had a lot of grit, worked hard and showed their team spirit by rooting each other on.

Good things are happening at HMS

Hemlock Middle School received a grant from the United States Tennis Association.  The goal is to increase participation in tennis both as a competitive sport and a lifetime leisure activity.  Brand new training equipment can go a long way towards that goal.  Thank you to Susan Courtright SEM & NEM Tennis Service Representative for the USTA/Midwest Section for selecting Hemlock Middle School as a Grant Winner!

Grant

Our HMS 5th graders Brody Cheney, Jaxson Penn, Carson Hodges, Makenna Czapiewski, and Brooklyn Wingett were on deck and ready to accept the new equipment for our school.

Thank you Mr. Keenan for believing in the health and well being of our students.
