HMS celebrated St. Patrick's Day this week with tons of green spirit!

 

March Madness is here! Our intramural basketball league leaves it all on the court, battling it out to benefit the Hemlock Middle School Student Council.

 

This month's Color Wars was another success! Each grade did their best to show class spirit, but the 6th graders took the top spot. At the end of the year, the winning grade will earn the coveted Class Cup.
 

Our CSO students traveled to the Lockwood STEM Center to help Kindergarten and Young Fives classes enjoy some fun science activities.

 

The HMS Spelling Team traveled to Essexville to cheer on 7th grader Madelyn Godley and 6th grader Maggie Raths at the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee, competing among 16 top spellers across eight regions of the state. Both of our spellers showed impressive skills, with Maggie making it all the way to the final round and taking 2nd place overall. Congratulations to the team and coaches for an incredible spelling season!

LEGEND WEIGHT ROOM OPEN TO STUDENTS

We are pleased to share that the High School Legend Weight Room is open and available to both high school and middle school students during our supervised hours with Weight Room Attendant Mr. Robert Knapik.

Open Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

                       Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Please note: Hours are subject to change during shortened school weeks and holiday breaks.

 

Attention, HMS Families - the Weight Room is to be used for lifting only. If a student is not lifting, they are not able to be in the Weight Room. When lifting is finished, students must leave the building. Thank you!
