We are so proud to recognize our Hemlock Middle School Poms Team for an incredible performance at the 2026 Mid American Pompon State Championship — placing 5th in the state! Your dedication and the effort you put in all season truly shined through in your performance, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way you represented our school and community. We can't wait to see what you accomplish in the future!

It was the office versus the teachers on Friday when the Valentine’s Day Ninja Challenge began! Teachers dressed as ninjas and tried all day to steal the paper hearts from the office window. The office staff did NOT play around - they stayed on high alert, guarding those hearts like pros.

The students absolutely loved watching the suspense unfold throughout the day and definitely did their part to get their teacher to the top of the leaderboard. In the end, it was a three-way tie between Ms. Bebow, Ms. Dixon, and Ms. Lyons - clearly our stealthiest staff members!

Safe to say, our students were highly entertained. Middle school magic at its finest.

Hey Huskies!  We now have an option available to us through Lifetouch called the Community Image Upload.  This enables anyone (teachers, staff, parents, students) with candid shots to directly upload them to the portal.  You must click on the following link https://community.lifetouch.com/invite?code=HEMLOCK-MIDDLE-SCHOOL-26, enter your email, create an account (if you don't already have one) and then upload.  The pictures will then be put in the community section on the portal and Ms. Kris will have access to use them for yearbook or social media purposes.

You are definitely still welcome to email Ms. Kris at ballou@hemlockps.com with any pictures that you wish to send in, this new Lifetouch portal is just another option for everyone to use.

Please share either of these options with anyone that would like to send us pictures of our HMS students being amazing!
