The HMS Track Team getting ready to go for gold as they travelled to Ithaca this week. They are having an amazing season - breaking records, setting new goals, and representing our school in a positive way.

Friday, May 1st is School Principal's Day! What can we say about the best Middle School Principal in the world, Mrs. Gensch? We thought we'd let the students speak for themselves:

"Thank you for always being there for me to talk to when things were hard."

"I like that you understand us kids."

"You are the best principal we could have ever asked for and I couldn't be more grateful to have you here at the Middle School."

We couldn't have put it better ourselves. Thank you, Mrs. Gensch - the positive impact you have on our students and community truly can't be measured.

May 1st is School Lunch Hero Day and we think 'Hero' is the perfect word to describe the members of our amazing food service crew. This dedicated group keeps our students fed with nutritious and tasty meals every day, but their impact goes far beyond that. Thank you for everything you do for our students, school, and Huskie community!

Attention, HMS parents: Now that the weather and water levels are cooperating, Mr. Wilkowski's and Mrs. Slominski's classes will be releasing their salmon this Saturday from 10:00 AM - Noon. Please consider having your student join for this fun event!
