8th Grade Volleyball vs Ithaca on 12/2

Both 8th Grade A & B Volleyball Teams beat Ithaca last night! The B Team won 2 out of 3 sets sealing the win with 25-23, 23-25, and 25-23. Chloe Burback lead with a total of 23 points, 5 of which were aces, and Allison Andres followed up with 18 points, 6 aces.

The A Team also won 2 out of 3 sets, 15-25, 25-17, and 25-19. Maylin Buckley lead with a total of 16 points, 6 of which were aces. Hope Jimenez and Sage Lavigne both had 14 points with 6 and 5 aces respectively. Come out to Frankenmuth this Wednesday as the girls take on Frankenmuth!

8th Grade Volleyball vs Ithaca 12/9

The 8th Grade Volleyball Teams took on Ithaca last night. The B Team won the first set 25-21, but fell short the next two; 23-25, 22-25. Brook Turner led with 14 points and Bria Hendrickson and Layla Hobbs both contributed 11 points.

The A Team won 25-20, 25-19, but fell short the last set at 23-25. Hope Jimenez and Maylin Buckley led with 16 points a piece with Kinley Gerow contributing 12 points. Maylin Buckley and Sage Lavigne both had 4 kills and multiple blocks.

Both teams played excellent ball and put up one heck of a fight! Please come cheer them on Wednesday when they take on Swan Valley.
