Halloween Parade, 1:45pm in Bus Loop
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well! As we move further into the school year, we want to remind families of the importance of having an up-to-date medication authorization form on file for any student who may need medication during the school day.
If your child requires an EpiPen, inhaler, or any other prescribed or over-the-counter medication while at school, we must have the proper documentation completed and signed by both a parent/guardian and the childās healthcare provider. This ensures we can safely and promptly assist your student in the event of a medical need.
Please note that medications cannot be given at school without a current medication form on file. This includes carrying or self-administering inhalers, EpiPens, or any other type of emergency medication.
Medication forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded from our district website. If you need assistance completing the form or have any questions about your childās health plan, please donāt hesitate to contact our school nurse.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe and healthy at school!
Warm regards,
Nurse Becky
Better Together in Every Moment
Every day counts when it comes to learningāand growing! When students show up, they get to explore new ideas, ask questions, and make memories with friends. Just like these two friends enjoying a story together, being in school helps our Huskies learn, laugh, and lift each other up. Letās make every day a day to be here! š
Halloween Parade Pick-Up Information
Following our Halloween Parade, families who plan to pick up their children should follow the procedures below to help keep everything running smoothly and safely. Please know it will be very busy in the parking lot, and student safety is our number one priority. Thank you for your cooperation with the following:
Pick-Up Locations:
1st & 2nd Grade: Multipurpose Room (right side of K.C. Ling)
Please use the right side of the K.C. Ling parking lot if possible.
3rd & 4th Grade: New Gym (left side of K.C. Ling)
Please use the left side of the K.C. Ling parking lot if possible.
When you arrive, please go to your childās designated pick-up area. Staff members will be stationed outside each location to take your childās name and notify the classroom teacher inside. Once the teacher receives word, your child will be released to meet you outside.
If your child rides the bus home:
No changes are needed! Bus riders will remain with staff and be dismissed as usual at the end of the day.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to make dismissal after the parade safe and organized for all of our Huskie families. Thank you for helping us make this a fun and memorable event for our students!
š Halloween Parade Fun! š»
Weāre excited to celebrate Halloween with our annual school parade! Students are welcome to bring their costumes to school and will have time to change before the parade begins.
Please remember:
Costumes should be ones students can put on with minimal adult help.
No full face paint that cover the entire face.
No weapons or look-alike weapons of any kind.
We canāt wait to see all the creativity and smiles as our Huskies show off their Halloween spirit! š¤š§”
