We are so excited to celebrate Elaina Jacobs as the first student to reach 1,000,000 words read this school year!
What an incredible accomplishment! Reaching one million words takes dedication, focus, and a true love of reading. Elaina’s commitment to growing as a reader is something to be proud of, and she has set an amazing example for her classmates.

Way to go, Elaina! We can’t wait to see how many more pages you turn this year! 💙📖

Congratulations to Aubrey Marolf, our 3rd Grade Student of the Month at K.C. Ling Elementary  Mrs. Green and Mrs. Wilson shared, “Aubrey is a kind and hard-working student. She has grown immensely in her ability to persevere in the classroom this year. We are very proud of her accomplishments! She is a wonderful student to have in class.”

We’re so proud of you, Aubrey — keep up the great work.

Honesty is Sweet!

Our February bulletin board is all about honesty—doing the right thing even when it’s hard and even when no one is watching. 💙 Through conversations, examples, and daily choices, we’re helping our Huskies understand that honesty builds trust, strengthens friendships, and helps our school community grow stronger together. We’re so proud of our students for practicing honesty each day and showing their true character!

📚✨ Book Fair is Next Week! ✨📚

We are so excited to welcome our Huskies to the Book Fair next week! Students will have the opportunity to shop during their scheduled class time — be sure to check out your student’s shopping day and time listed below. There’s still time to set up or add funds to your student’s eWallet for easy, cash-free shopping. Simply click on the image above to get started! We can’t wait to see the excitement as our readers discover new favorites.

Missing something? 👀💧🧥

Our Lost & Found table is filling up with water bottles, boots, sweatshirts, and more! Please take a moment to stop by and check for any items your student may be missing. All unclaimed items will be donated at a later date—thank you for helping us reunite belongings with their owners!

Bundle Up for Recess! 🧥❄️

As we start to see temperatures slowly warming up, we know it can feel like spring is right around the corner! ☀️ However, it is still very cold outside — especially during morning arrival and outdoor recess. Please continue to send students dressed appropriately for the weather, including coats, hats, and gloves when needed. Fresh air and outdoor play are important parts of our day, and proper winter gear helps everyone stay warm, comfortable, and ready to learn.

Thank you for your help in keeping our Huskies safe and cozy! 🧣❄️

📘 2025–2026 Yearbooks Are Now on Sale!

We’re excited to share that this year’s yearbook is now available for purchase! Click the image above to place your order and secure your copy of all the memories, smiles, and special moments from our school year.

Donations will be accepted until March 6th.

We love having our students and are even more excited to see our hallways full and our classrooms buzzing with learning each day. Being together at school truly makes a difference! As a gentle reminder, when your child is showing signs of illness, please follow our health guidelines and keep them home when needed. This helps protect all of our students and staff and keeps our school community healthy.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support—we appreciate you! 💙
