Our senior football players are alongside a teacher or staff member of their choice: someone who’s made a lasting impact on their time here at HHS.
Our team’s success goes far beyond the field. This year, we’re proud to celebrate zero ineligibilities... not even a single warning! That’s a testament to the commitment, accountability, and hard work of our student-athletes, and the incredible teachers and staff who support them every day.
To our teachers: thank you for pouring into our kids, challenging them, believing in them, and helping them grow as students, athletes, and young men. This is your win, too! |

Senior #52 Nathan Gohr and his choice Mr. Keith Green. Nathan had this to say about why he selected to recognize Mr. Green:
“I really appreciate my principal, Mr. Green, for all the hard work and dedication he puts into making our school a better place. He always takes the time to listen to students and make sure everyone feels supported and included. His positive attitude and leadership inspire both students and teachers to do their best every day. Mr. Green truly cares about our success, and our school is a better place because of him.”
|
|
Senior #78 Preston Guilbeaux and his choice Mr. Keith Krueger. Here’s what Preston had to say that warranted his selection:
“Mr. Krueger was my Algebra I teacher, and he was one of those teachers you never forget. He was a really funny guy who always found a way to make math more enjoyable, but he also knew when to be serious and get everyone focused. He was great at explaining how to do the work in a way that actually made sense, and you could tell he cared about his students' learning.”
|
|
Senior #22 Steven Katzenberger and his choice for recognition, Biology and Chemistry teacher, Mr. Bryan Yuvan. Here’s what Steven had to say:
“I chose Mr. Yuvan because when I had him my freshman and sophomore year he helped me understand and open my eyes that if I want to succeed I have to show effort, be disciplined, and work hard. Although he was mainly talking about succeeding in his class, these things are what you need to succeed in life. These principles relate to football because you need these to be a captain, good teammate, and a football player. My favorite memory of having Mr. Yuvan is when he quoted Coach JB from Last Chance U. To thrive in a class you have to play the game, this means going to class, sitting in the front, staying off phone, paying attention, and completing your assignments. This is why I chose Mr. Yuvan and why I appreciate him as a teacher.”

We hope this message finds you well! As we move further into the school year, we want to remind families of the importance of having an up-to-date medication authorization form on file for any student who may need medication during the school day.
If your child requires an EpiPen, inhaler, or any other prescribed or over-the-counter medication while at school, we must have the proper documentation completed and signed by both a parent/guardian and the child’s healthcare provider. This ensures we can safely and promptly assist your student in the event of a medical need.
Please note that medications cannot be given at school without a current medication form on file. This includes carrying or self-administering inhalers, EpiPens, or any other type of emergency medication.
Medication forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded from our district website. If you need assistance completing the form or have any questions about your child’s health plan, please don’t hesitate to contact our school nurse.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe and healthy at school!
