HUSKIE PUPDATES

Little Huskies were up to great things this week!

Young Fives and Kindergarten classes put their creative skills to good use today when they all gathered to decorate pumpkins.

The Elementary Halloween Parade is a true Hemlock Huskies tradition, and this year did not disappoint. We had witches, unicorns, sharks, and even cheese!

A Letter From Nurse Becky:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope this message finds you well! As we move further into the school year, we want to remind families of the importance of having an up-to-date medication authorization form on file for any student who may need medication during the school day.

If your child requires an EpiPen, inhaler, or any other prescribed or over-the-counter medication while at school, we must have the proper documentation completed and signed by both a parent/guardian and the child’s healthcare provider. This ensures we can safely and promptly assist your student in the event of a medical need.

Please note that medications cannot be given at school without a current medication form on file. This includes carrying or self-administering inhalers, EpiPens, or any other type of emergency medication.

Medication forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded from our district website. If you need assistance completing the form or have any questions about your child’s health plan, please don’t hesitate to contact our school nurse.

Thank you for helping us keep all students safe and healthy at school!

Warm regards,

Nurse Becky
